We are a manufacturer and supplier of low carbon silt control solutions to the construction industry. Our aim is to help the construction industry reduce its carbon footprint.
As a designer, manufacturer and distributor of silt pollution prevention products, we help the construction industry protect the local environment during temporary works, but we also have a role to play in protecting the wider environment.
Embedding a low carbon approach into our work is not a gimmick or marketing speak; it is something that we take responsibility for to avert the worst potential impacts of climate change.
A significant amount of effort and innovation is required from all quarters to support the construction industry as we transition towards a low carbon economy.
Carbon footprint needs to become central to our thinking, our decision making and our operations.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the construction industry in the United Kingdom (UK) from 1990 to 2019
The construction industry accounts for 38% of CO2 emissions from a report from United Nations Environment Programme.
To achieve net-zero, the International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates CO2 emissions from direct building need to fall by 50% by 2030, around 6% per year.
