Community & Sustainability

Our Sustainable Development Goals

We’re committed to supporting UK communities and sustainable causes

As a manufacturer and supplier of low carbon silt control and water quality solutions to the construction industry, we are committed to operating innovatively and sustainably, embedding the principles of the UN Sustainable Development Goals across every stage of our business.

Through the sustainable management of water and clean water initiatives, we actively reduce waste and carbon emissions, adopting and promoting circular economy practices such as reusing materials for silt control.

We champion fair work, safety, training, and gender equality, ensuring our workforce is supported and empowered. By strengthening relationships with our communities and suppliers, we deliver social value and foster inclusive growth. We prioritise the whole life of our projects, addressing climate change and driving environmental gains through innovation. Finally, by engaging with global initiatives and partnerships, we share best practices that create long-term benefits for people, the planet, and the construction industry.

In this section, you’ll find more details on how we operate. We’re proud to make a small difference to the planet by being a responsible business – both in how we conduct ourselves and how we help our clients to do business with us.

Keep an eye on our social media feeds or visit the news section of our website to find out more about our partnerships, our initiatives and upcoming activity.

Our sustainable aims

As a responsible business founded to protect the environment, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

As well as upholding national accreditations such as Constructionline Gold, we have an active sustainability committee who meet regularly to discuss ideas and benchmark performance against our business goals.

With the help of our committee, environmentally-friendly initiatives have long been put in place at our office and depot from in-house recycling outlets to LED lighting. We source cardboard from other companies based on the business park, purchase pre-loved materials such as pallets for deliveries and donate our packaging for projects used by local community groups. In 2025 we introduced carbon neutral deliveries as part of our service and commitment to our sustainable goals.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. In 2024 and 2025 we were awarded the World Ambassador Award for Environmental Excellence at the Green Apple Awards.

Our Community Fund

By the very nature of our work, we take great pride in contributing to environmental improvements but it is important to us to also create a lasting impact in our communities too. That’s why we set up the Frog Environmental Community Fund.

We support a wide variety of community groups and charities across the country from soup kitchens for the homeless to BMX clubs.

A percentage of profit on all orders are donated to the Community Fund to support communities across the UK.

Follow our news and updates through our LinkedIn page or receive our quarterly newsletter straight to your inbox to hear more about the communities we support.

If you have a community project that could benefit from some support, please contact us.

Volunteering

We recognise the importance of helping others. Our team enjoys putting down the tools and picking up paint brushes, gardening tools and other equipment, taking part in annual volunteering days and working bees.

We also volunteer our time with educational STEM activities – encouraging children to take an interest in the environment and to consider careers connected with what we do.
