The Innovation Magazine, a CIWEM published publication covering environmental best practice, featured our innovative Silt Capture Channel and how it’s being used during the build of a £30 million Flood Storage Reservoir.
Working with Jackson Civil Engineering and the Environment Agency, the recent project at Lowdham demonstrates how simple, site-specific solutions can have a big impact – reducing risk to nearby watercourses while supporting compliance with planning and environmental permits.

Good surface water management during construction is essential in preventing sediment pollution and minimising risk of prosecution, with the potential for large financial penalties and reputational damage.
